❓ How does TED® Hair Restoration Work?

1) Trans Epidermal Delivery (TED) Technology

  • TED uses a combination of Ultrasound Waves and Controlled Air Pressure to deliver active hair growth ingredients directly into the scalp promoting hair growth and improving scalp health
    • Ultrasonic Soundwaves result in Push / Pull Effect
    • TED creates Micro-Bubbles which Burst => Shockwave => Microchannels
    • Compared to Micro-Needling, TED creates Wider Channels without Injury
  • Unlike topical solutions that only sit on the surface, TED® Enhances Penetration so the serum reaches the deeper layers of the skin where hair follicles reside

2) Delivery of Growth Factors

  • TED® devices are typically paired with serums containing Growth Factors, Peptides and Nutrients essential for hair follicle stimulation
  • The device ensures these compounds bypass the outer layer of the scalp efficiently, improving absorption and effectiveness

3) Scalp Stimulation

  • The ultrasound waves and micro-pressure create Gentle Mechanical Scalp Stimulation
  • This helps:
    • Increase Blood Circulation to hair follicles
    • Stimulate Cellular Activity around follicles
    • Increased Size of Hair Follicles / Shafts … added from Stef’s presentation
    • Encourage follicles to enter the Anagen (Growth) Phase of the hair cycle
    • Inhibits Depigmentation (May Prevent Gray) … added from Stef’s pres.
    • Awakens Melanocytes (May Correct Gray) … added from Stef’s presentation

4) Non-Invasive and Pain-Free – Unlike PRF Injections or Surgical Hair Restoration:

  • No Needles
  • No Downtime is required
  • Treatment is generally Comfortable, with only a mild tingling sensation

5) Treatment Course

  • Initial Treatment:  For Realistic Results, a Minimum of Three (3) Treatments at Four (4) Week Intervals is Required
  • Maintenance:
    • Younger Population: Every 6 – 12 Months is Recommended
    • Older Population: Every 3 Months May Be Necessary

Treatment is complete when satisfactory results are obtained
